The legend of Uggs

The legend of Ugg Shoes-Australia has close relation with the customer of the Australian people wearing heavy duty sheepskin boots for their farming and outdoor activities. In the past 200 years, the merino sheepskin boots was nicknamed as "ugs", short for "ugly” by the Australian people. In 1970's around the Australian city of Perth, there were several sheepskin boot manufacturing plants had been constructed. Here is the poplar location for surfing, every year thousands of surfer fans come to here for relaxing and enjoying the sky and blue water, where surfers improved the Ugg boots for year-round use.
The feet were kept as warm in winter because of the insulating properties of fleece, and in summer, it absorbed perspiration. Uggs provided sock-like comfort while walking over the uneven and rough road with a cozy feel and fitting style. Gradually, Cheap Ugg reached from the West Coast to the East Coast where is the surfing paradise, and then were carried into skiing communities by surfers who enjoyed both sports. When Brian Smith, a native Australian surfer visited the U.S in the late 1970's, at the moment, they brought the UGG to there. After realizing the popularity of Uggs within the California surfing community, he decided to develop and market the sheepskin footwear.
